This was one of my favourite locations to shoot at, just because train tracks in general also fascinate me (ranking just below bald trees in the winter). Totally worth the near death (I exaggerate) run-in with an oncoming train shortly before these were taken..I very much appreciated being honked at by the train conductor to save my ass. I also liked that this one in particular led to the Sydney fish market where I had some awesome calamari rings post encounter with a bunch of pretty fearless, hungry seagulls by the dock..yup, some good memories made in Sydney to look back on. The beach was creepily vacant considering about 40, 000 people (insane) flock to Bondi during the summer..not that I was complaining or anything. Gave me ample space and freedom to do exactly what one should when at the beach including getting cheesy (and totally necessary) jump shots, impromptu group dancing to boy-band hit songs and intentionally/unintentionally hair-flicking everyone else in the face. Yup. Ace beach itinerary.

Withering trees fascinate me..something about their bald branches and skeleton-like frames makes for an ideal melancholic setting. Wearing a Topshop skirt, H&M denim shirt, custom leather jacket and my trusty all-around Cheap Monday boots, with Alexander Wang Diego bag.

It's amusing how I never dress for the weather..I'm all sweaters and thick knits when it's warm and short skirts when it's the complete opposite. I realize I may have been born in the wrong climate zone..my number one favourite thing about Sydney in the winter was the chill in the air combated by the perfect amount of sunshine. Captured above for pictorial references.

Compulsory sartorial outtakes with the Opera House looming in the background, from my visit to Sydney two weeks ago. I've only just got back home but I miss it so much already. I guess sifting through the backlog of photos from there again and again will kind of do that..expect more Sydney-based posts to come for a little while.
